Well, another B2B has come and gone. A massive 7 mile race run by thousands of athletes across the city, from the bay to the ocean. Some of them are all business, and others run it in costumes of all types. After they’ve run by comes the massive music thumping, booze drinking, hooting and hollering throngs of party goers walking the same route. It’s basically Halloween on crack. Oh, the costumes I saw on Sunday, this post doesn’t nearly do them justice. I saw the Flintstones, the Waldos, the hicks, the geeks, the freaks, the heros, the Marios, Luigis & Warios, the Tetris blocks, the Fraggle Rocks, the villains, the OompaLoompas, the mad scientists, and even a few Jesus Christs, just to name a few. Hell, some wore nothing but a cowboy hat or pasties. But it’s all in the good name of fun and making friends, and mostly everyone had a smile on their face to prove it. Good times this year- stay tuned for the Centennial event in 2011, which will no doubt bring absolute mayhem. Don’t forget to bring your flask, a mullet wig & some comfortable shoes, you’ll do just fine.
