Ventured to the toxic island once again mainly to take advantage of the break in the rain. Kyle and I got there a few hours before sunset and just cruised around taking in the rusted abandoned sights. This was my third time there, however it was the first time I’d gone during the day and I gotta tell you – the place was still eerie. For example, cruising by a fenced in yard full of dumpsters containing god-knows-what, and simultaneously reading a radioactive warning sign and hearing the laughter of nearby children playing. Kind of messed up if you ask me. Anyway, we wandered about until the sun started to make its way down to the horizon and headed to the old restricted pier to catch the its descent behind the city. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
